Reviving participation in arts & culture

Owing to the situation our country has gone through and is still experiencing due to COVID-19, despite the severity of the losses due to the prolonged closure of venues and stop to live performances and events as well as new productions, there is a real risk that arts and culture may be relegated to second fiddle in the recovery. The pandemic has inflicted wounds not only to the economy but also to Italian society as a whole, widening existing economic and social inequalities, narrowing the possibilities for arts and culture enjoyment and production and seriously endangering participation in arts and culture.

Our Foundation intends to support rethinking and renewal of forms of participation in arts and culture, experimenting with new models of doing and experiencing arts and culture that emphasize the contribution arts and culture can give to people wellbeing and development of local communities.
